| On February 19, 1992, Tocchet was traded,
along with defenseman Kjell Samuelsson and goaltender Ken Wregget to the
Pittsburgh Penguins for center Mark Recchi, plus Brian Benning and LA's
first round pick in 1992 (both acquired in an earlier trade.) While there he
was teamed with Mario Lemieux and had the best years of his career. Personal
highlights as a Penguin include: |
