He began his career with Sault Ste. Marie of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), in 1981. After three full seasons as a Greyhound, he established several team records, a few of which have remained unbroken in the thirteen seasons that followed. This picture was acquired from a nice, helpful person in Ontario, Barry Didier. It is the only pic I have found from Tocchet's pre-NHL days!
